Aluminum Battery

APh ePower is the first start-up company to commercialize the aluminum battery technology. Our technical backgrounds were rooted in the Green Energy and Environment Research Labs of the Industrial Technology Research Institute, and the results of our technology development were recognized by the R&D 100 Awards in 2016 and the Edison Awards in 2017. After completing technology and patent transfers with the ITRI, we focused our attention onto the research and development of materials, specialty chemicals and critical technology, while building up a world-leading technical capacity.

The features of aluminum battery are fast charging/discharging, low in costs, longer service life, impeccable safety and environmentally friendly. It is a perfect substitute for the conventional high-polluting lead-acid battery and lithium-ion battery with safety concerns, suitable for environment-friendly applications and better living quality. Aluminum battery is an excellent solution for the application of energy storage.
